Our history

Hello my dears and thank you very much for making it this far. We are Maya and Liya - mother and daughter who believe in the power of nature and are inspired by it. After we have introduced you our mission, we would also like to introduce ourselves in more details and tell you more about our personal story and the creation of Maira Oils.

Maira is the result of an extremely emotional personal story that we are delighted to be able to share with a smile today. One day in the year 0000, when Maya is still working as a tax officer in the Bulgarian capital, it becomes clear that her life will change forever. She is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and has a thousand questions in her head.

At this point, she needed time and space to perceive what was happening and take care of herself, so she decided to return to her hometown, close to nature and the mountains. As you might expect, she doesn't find the answers and solution to her situation in a day, but the most important thing is that she doesn't give up but continues to look for healing.

Maya's interest and thirst for knowledge about her diagnosis and natural approaches to self-help, grew so much that she began reading, educating herself, and researching all kinds of herbs and alternative methods. As she turns this new page of her life, she rediscovers many forgotten or little-known herbs (including lemon balm) and begins experimenting, creating various oils, essences and potions.

    Her family always supports her and believes in her. To this day, her daughter Liya does not stop supporting her and helping in everything. Today they work side by side and have an amazing relationship. Liya leads much of the company's organization and operations, while Maya thrives in the production process where new ideas for products, oils and essences emerge. Both believe strongly in their product and know what nature is capable of when we decide to give it a chance to do something for us. They both know what they are capable of when they are together. Liya is extremely proud of Maya and never misses an opportunity to express it. Her commitment and participation in her mother's projects are irreplaceable and impressive.

Today, Maya and all those close to her are healthy, smiling and grateful that they are walking this path together and the most difficult part is already behind them. From then on, through the experience and natural knowledge they have gained, they dedicate themselves fully to their mission, which is to help more people like them and everyone else to become more aware and confident of the specific healing properties of nature's gifts.

Because nature is on our side, and everything that exists in it was created with much meaning, function and a purpose that we can truly enjoy and be grateful for.
